After the Dirty Dozen in Pittsburgh, I decided to take a month break from my bikes for a few reasons. The main one having been that I couldn't find a bike box in time to get them home on the Greyhound, and a second one because lately I began having hip pain due to the saddle on my road bike being just a smidgen too high all season. On my month break I did weights for arms and core as well as pilates.
Well now I have my bikes back and Mike bought me a trainer, so I am good to go. So far, knock on wood, we have been having an exceptionally warm and dry winter, so I should be able to train outside on a more regular basis than I first expected.
This is how I have my schedule planned out:
